On my way home from work I stopped by a little pond in a retirement village where I've caught some small bass. I put on a Mepps as I've had luck with spinners in this pond before. This monster came out from underneath the weed line and ambushed my spinner right at the bank. It was so cool seeing the whole thing unfold and how savage LMB can be. I was amazed that a bass this size could live in such a small pond. I didn't have a scale on me but this is the largest bass I've caught on a spinner -- I submitted this for a Master Angler chevron, so we shall see!
