My favorite fish to fish for is pike. However, apparently catfish are drawn to my lures when I pike fish. This catfish hit like a freight train and pulled like four of them. I could barely turn the reel. It was so bad I almost gave the pole to my husband to reel in, but I battled through. I was disappointed it wasn't a trophy pike, but my husband reminded me a big fish is a big fish and that I caught the biggest catfish the family has ever caught. They nicknamed it "The Seal". What a battle!!
